Anna Encarnacao is a biologist with a master’s degree in clinical child and adolescent psychology, a neuroeducator with a Montessori certification by the American Montessori Society, and an expert in bilingual education. She taught in Key West and Boston before moving to Italy to study the cultural roots and global applications of the Montessori method. Over the past 15 years, she has observed Montessori schools worldwide, co-founded and directed the Mango Tree Montessori Lab, authored specialized publications, and led parent workshops on applying Montessori principles at home. She has collaborated with Grazia Honegger Fresco, Corriere della Sera, FAO’s Forum on Urban Forests, Gonzagarredi Montessori, the Municipality of Gonzaga, and other institutions dedicated to authentic Montessori education.
